Group exhibition Self Surroundings was opened in Gallery Himmelblau's Weaving Hall on 3rd Dec. Exhibition will be open untill 8th Jan 2023. Himmelblau is the biggest art gallery in Tampere and one of the biggest in Finland. It is situated in wonderful, old cotton factory in Finlayson area.
I have seven newest drawings on show, three of them are on black paper and four on white. Technique is mixed: I have used liquid acrylic, watercolor, ink, 005 ink pens and metallic pigment ink pens.

I wanted the athmosphere to be mystcial, so black wall suits very well with my drawings. All the works are framed with museum glass - I have so many tiny details in my drawings that normal glass would spoil the experience with reflections. Framing style is so called tight vitrine. I love the look! Here are some photos from my wall.
