My previous drawing wanted to grow out of the paper. The image looks like a giant egg cell that is at the same time like a big planet or a sun of some unknown solar system. And then there is this weird sceptre or a flower or a tree that is growing in front of the egg cell.
New life is being born inside of the egg cell. It is protecting the life with the pink moss-like soft layer. Egg cell is spreading its' new energy around and connecting the new life with the past and the future. There are lots of faces and embryos inside the cell. Inside the sceptre there is a human figure that beams energy. Maybe the sceptre is a shaman tree: connecting the under world, the present and the upper world.
I used pigment ink pens; pink, green, white and silver. I painted too, with very light liquid acrylic. I made some silver and white lines with the pigment ink on top of the painting, so those lines are more visible in a different light.
I still love the effect of metallic pigment ink pens. They give nice reflections depending on which side you look at the drawing. Sometimes some lines even dissappear. Pigment ink pen is super also for my dotting: the liquid ink comes out so easily that it's nice to draw thousands of dots - it won't make an ache in my hand. In this work there are not dots. Sometimes they come and sometimes not. Anyway I love those free flowing curvy lines.
